Our team is searching for an experienced Senior World Environment Artist to help with the creation of an expanding vivid world of Gray Zone Warfare.
WHAT IS YOUR MISSION:
- Collaborate with World Designers and Environment Artists on producing cutting-edge open-world environments.
- Work closely with the Art Director and Lead Artist to create and maintain an artistic style/atmosphere in accordance with the visuals defined for our projects.
- Create and dress the locations in the world, from greybox through terrain sculpting, composition, building placement and set dressing.
- Participate in creation and fine tuning of modular sets, buildings and props to fit well into the game world.
- Maintain a good balance between visual quality and technical limitations linked to a AAA real-time game world.
- The ultimate goal is to create a perfect visual experience for our players.
- Contribute to development of workflows and pipelines.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- 5+ years of experience as Environment Artist in game development, with at least one AAA game shipped.
- Strong portfolio showing your understanding of realistic game art and ability to work either on big scale environments, either fine tuning details on set dressing or atmosphere.
- Great artistic eye for composition, color theory, environment storytelling.
- Good lighting skills and experience creating normal maps and applying shaders.
- High efficiency in industry-standard software (Adobe Suite, 3dsMax / Blender, Substance Designer / Painter, Zbrush).
- Deep understanding of Art production of AAA games (modeling, texturing, optimizations, etc.)
- Expert knowledge with modern editors (Unreal 5).
- Eligibility to work in the European Union.
