WHO WE NEED?

For our new project, we are seeking a RIGGER, who is as passionate about virtual characters, Metahuman tech, Unreal Engine and games.

WHAT IS THE JOB ABOUT?

  • Solve technical art problems centred around characters and animation.
  • Create Skeletons and Animation rigs.
  • Skin Weighting and Deformations solving for realistic characters.
  • Perform ingame quality and optimization checks on Skin Weights, LODs and Physics Assets (optional).
  • Working with the state-of-art Metahuman technology in collaboration with Epic
  • Create documentation and provide pipeline improvements.
  • Collaborate with animators to design motion controls.
  • Liaising between character team, animators, designers, and coders.

 

WHAT SKILLS DO YOU NEED FOR THE JOB?

  • Experience with the Unreal Engine and Control Rig.
  • Experience with Rigging (3ds Max, Maya), Animation, or Motion Capture.
  • Experience with Motion Builder/Maya)
  • Strong knowledge of 3ds Max.
  • Great teamwork and communication skills
  • Good spoken and written English

 

WHAT IS NICE TO HAVE?

  • Ability to research and develop technical tools in DCC apps for a project (3ds Max, Maya).
  • Worked on released AAA game(s) or movie(s).
  • Tool Programming.
  • Understanding human and animal anatomy.
  • Passion for video games and game development.
