Technical Animator

GIANTS Software  |   Location: Brno  |   Type of Contract: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Creating & maintaining facial, biped, and quadruped animation rigs
  • Taking over and developing the current rigging pipeline
  • Collaborating with character artists to troubleshoot models if necessary
  • Blending into our animation team for the delivery of integration assets

Expected Qualifications

  • Portfolio demonstrating exceptional skill
  • At least two years of experience in the game industry
  • Solid understanding of anatomy and kinematics
  • Excellent character rigging skills in Maya
  • Perfect knowledge of Autodesk Maya
  • Experience with animation
  • Independency and ability to solve production issues
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Self-reflection and ability to receive feedback
  • Solid time management skills

What would be a plus?

  • Art-oriented education (Design/3D Art/Animation)
  • Ability to develop animation tools to support rigs
  • Python and/or mel scripting knowledge
  • Knowledge of MotionBuilder
  • Experience from the Farming Simulator modding community
