Technical Character Artist

The job is mainly about skinning and rigging characters, research and development in character art specialties (hair, clother etc.) and possibly also a bit of 3D modeling and animating. The goal is to create kick-ass realistic next gen characters. You should be able to create a model from scratch in the game. We're looking for experienced, versatile and self-directed individuals with knowledge of Unreal Engine or similar development toolsets


  • Creating character and facial skinning and rigging
  • Knowledge of character pipeline, from modeling and shaders to mesh and skeletal export
  • Ability to self-manage and make responsible decisions about time and project priorities
  • Ability to listen to feedback and work within a team

Welcomed skills

  • Experience with UE4 characted pipeline
  • Creating simulation rigs for use with ragdolls and cloth
  • Thorough working knowledge of Maxscript
  • Experience with MAX and Zbrush to create character models
  • Capable of creating 2D textures for models (Photoshop, Substance painter etc.)
  • Good knowledge of human anatomy
  • Skilled in high poly modeling
  • Familiar with effective polygon use, UV sets and mesh optimization
